EDICOM consolidates growth and becomes a technology pioneer in data transmission

EDICOM, a multinational technology company based in Paterna, Spain, needed secure, highly reliable data integration and transmission services to support customer supply chains and sustain growth. After facing reliability issues, delays, and invoicing problems with previous suppliers, EDICOM turned to Colt Technology Services for Internet access, voice connectivity, and LANLink services.

Colt Technology Services implemented a secure colocation-based disaster recovery solution at its Valencia data centre, including a high-security cold corridor for 18 racks and an encrypted 10Gbps LANLink linking EDICOM’s sites. The result was stronger service availability and security, helping EDICOM grow more than 300% since 2008, expand to eight countries, and support nearly 13,400 client companies with revenues of over €76m.
