Colt helps IED to digitalise teaching

IED, the European Institute of Design, needed a secure, high-bandwidth network to support students, teachers, and staff across its growing international education network. Colt Technology Services provided data and voice connectivity plus data-centre hosting, using Colt’s EPN network and SIP Trunking services to connect branches and support safe information exchange.

Colt Technology Services migrated IED from individual branch connections to a unified EPN network and moved data and teaching systems into Colt’s data centre for 24/7 access. The result was improved security, lower latency, easier information sharing, better reliability, and reduced costs; each branch now has 100 Mbps bandwidth, and Colt SIP Trunking also improved efficiency and flexibility for voice services across the Italian branches.
