AMR International builds a future-proof communications platform

AMR International, a global business consultancy, needed a more reliable and higher-bandwidth communications setup to support Office 365, large project file transfers, and flexible working for consultants in the office, on the road, and at home. Working with partner Expect Solutions and vendor Colt Technology Services, AMR sought services including IP Access, Voice Line, and Voice Connect to improve connectivity, call quality, and chargeback tracking.

Colt Technology Services implemented Colt IP Access to replace underpowered ADSL lines, later doubling bandwidth to 100Mbps, which improved file transfers and application access and helped make the Office 365 rollout a success. Colt also provided Voice Line and Voice Connect, delivering better call quality, simpler home-worker chargebacks, and lower costs; AMR reported 43% savings versus its previous provider.
