A Colossyan Case Study

How the City of Linz leveraged Colossyan’s AI Avatars to inform their multicultural population

The City of Linz, a municipality in Austria, needed a way to communicate COVID-19 and vaccination information to a population that was nearly 28% foreign-born and often had limited German proficiency. Traditional video production was too costly, slow to update, and difficult to localize across many languages, so the city turned to Colossyan’s AI video platform.

Using Colossyan Learn and Colossyan Creator, Linz created multilingual AI vaccination advisor videos in German first, then translated and reviewed them with native speakers before adding interactive elements. The project helped the city save over 50% of its €1.9M communications budget, cut cost per video by 50%, and reach 55,000 residents in 11 languages, while making updates faster and more scalable.
