Edisto Island Youth Recreation launches a low-maintenance youth sports website with Colophon New Media

Edisto Island Youth Recreation (EIYR), a volunteer-run nonprofit providing youth sports opportunities for the children of Edisto Island, South Carolina, approached Colophon New Media with a challenge. Their existing DIY-built website was inadequate for their needs; they required a more professional, legitimate online presence that would allow parents to easily register children, access schedules, and stay connected to community events, all while being simple for their volunteers to maintain.

Colophon New Media designed and built a streamlined WordPress website for EIYR, focusing on parent usability and easy maintenance. The solution included intuitive navigation, event and gallery modules for easy content updates, and online registration forms. The new site serves as an easy-to-use hub for the community and also highlights plans for a new youth sports facility, effectively supporting EIYR's mission and growth.
