The largest independent accounting firm in Québec chooses colocating with Cologix as an antidote to the unpredictable technology landscape

Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (RCGT), Québec’s largest independent accounting firm with more than 2,400 employees, faced an unpredictable IT landscape and wanted to move critical infrastructure off‑premise to avoid managing power, cooling, security and other physical data centre responsibilities. RCGT chose colocation with Cologix—specifically space in Cologix’s Montreal MTL4 data centre—to gain resilient, enterprise‑grade infrastructure and neutral network access while enabling the firm to focus on its core business.

Cologix implemented a fully redundant colocation solution with 24/7 monitored access, two diverse fibre entrances and access to more than 75 unique network carriers, plus 2N upgraded UPS systems and three backup generators to deter outages. As a result, RCGT reports no power or maintenance downtime, faster installations and on‑call technical support, room to expand capacity, and greater network agility through Cologix’s carrier‑neutral ecosystem—measurable improvements in resilience, connectivity choice and operational focus.
