Bob Evans Farms Receives Cash Incentive to Colocate with Cologix Through Innovative Efficiency Program

Bob Evans Farms, a Columbus-based restaurant and refrigerated foods company, outgrew its in-house IT capacity and faced rising costs and risks around space, power, cooling efficiency, reliability and scalability. To address these challenges the company moved its production IT into a colocation deployment at Cologix Columbus, partnering with Cologix for a tailored private-cage solution and access to the facility’s carrier-rich network and audited security controls.

Under the AEP Ohio Data Center Program, AEP Ohio verified Bob Evans’ energy savings from colocating at Cologix and issued cash incentive payments based on annualized savings; Bob Evans also realized lower IT costs, easier compliance, scalable capacity and the operational assurance of Cologix’s proven reliability (Cologix Columbus has maintained 100% uptime).
