Daiichi Sankyo Europe embarks on a data-driven journey

Daiichi Sankyo Europe GmbH, part of Daiichi Sankyo Group, needed a better way to manage a complex pharmaceutical data landscape and turn data from retrospective reporting into predictive insights. The company wanted a trusted single source of truth to improve KPI standardization, data ownership, glossary management, and informed decision-making across its 15 country affiliates, and chose Collibra to support its data governance journey.

Collibra implemented the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, including Data Catalog and Data Governance, integrated with Snowflake, Power BI, a life sciences CRM, and dbt, with ServiceNow and Jira planned next. Using Collibra Rapid Start, Daiichi Sankyo Europe launched its first use case in under two months and built a centralized data foundation that reduced time spent chasing information, improved policy and classification management for GDPR and pharma compliance, and created one standard set of data guidelines to accelerate data literacy and business operations.
