A Collective Health Case Study
Pinterest, a San Francisco–based social media company with 2,500+ employees, was struggling with a poor health plan experience that left employees frustrated by denied claims, confusing bills, and a high volume of service issues. With a lean benefits team and the need to compete for talent on a limited budget, Pinterest sought a member-centered solution and selected Collective Health for its technology and member-focused approach.
Collective Health implemented a deeply embedded benefits platform and Member Advocate support that took much of the day-to-day work off Pinterest’s benefits team and managed vendor billing and payments. As a result, Collective Health answered more than 70% of employee questions last quarter, produced a large drop in member issues within the first 2–3 weeks, and proactively resolved problems before Pinterest needed to intervene—freeing the team to focus on strategy and improving the overall employee experience.
