Case Study: Citizens Energy Group achieves centralized, secure fleet data management with Collective Data

A Collective Data Case Study

Preview of the Citizens Energy Group Case Study

Citizens Energy Group, a Public Charitable Trust Natural Energy Company Utilizes Fleet Management Software as a Home for All Their Fleet Data

Citizens Energy Group, a public charitable trust and utility serving about 800,000 people in the Indianapolis area, operates a growing fleet of 1,000+ vehicles supporting natural gas, thermal, water and wastewater services. As the fleet expanded, critical data was scattered across spreadsheets, paper and multiple systems, making reporting, maintenance requests and secure data sharing with vendors time-consuming and error-prone.

Implementing Collective Data as a centralized, cloud-based fleet management hub allowed Citizens to consolidate fuel card data, telematics (including DTCs), Active Directory and other sources into one secure, configurable system. Role-based security, vendor firewalls, mobile work-order entry, automated PMs and integrated reporting streamlined operations, improved data access for mechanics and supervisors, and simplified maintenance and compliance tracking.
