WNET, a New York City–based public media organization reaching over 5 million weekly viewers, needed a full-lifecycle system to replace disparate HR and financial tools (Lawson and PlanSource). WNET selected Workday with Collaborative Solutions for a phased deployment—Workday HCM (including benefits, payroll, time tracking and projects) went live in March 2014, followed by Workday Financial Management (accounting, procurement, contracts, assets, expenses, and more) in July 2015. The unified system delivered mobile access, real-time data, deeper reporting, improved workforce visibility, streamlined processes, and measurable productivity gains.
