NetMove enabled information sharing and unified management while also reducing security risks by adopting TeamForge

NetMove, a Tokyo-based subsidiary specializing in credit card settlement, security and web services, faced major collaboration and information-management problems during a reconstruction of its credit card settlement system. Communication relied on email, project artifacts were scattered across file servers, spreadsheets and documents, and teams (including external partners) had little visibility into project status—creating inefficiencies and elevated security and compliance risks around cardholder data.

NetMove adopted CollabNet TeamForge to centralize source repositories, forums and access controls, initially using source management and forum features to unify information and improve communication. The platform sped information access, simplified code and issue management, reduced time spent searching for data, decreased security risks through fine-grained access controls, and helped support the company’s preparation for PCI DSS compliance.
