Intergraph’s Process, Power & Marine (PP&M) division — part of Intergraph Corporation, a leading engineering and geospatial software provider — faced scaling and governance problems after rapid growth, new product development and multiple acquisitions. Their legacy in‑house planning system was hard to use, inconsistent across sites, and relied on disparate tools, which limited product management visibility, resource allocation and effective collaboration across globally distributed teams.
After evaluating 14 products and running side‑by‑side pilots, PP&M chose VersionOne for out‑of‑the‑box Scrum planning, release management and strong API integration. The platform provided global transparency, explicit team and individual assignments, better utilization of remote teams and a scalable way to integrate acquired product lines; rollout across Product Owners, ScrumMasters and teams is underway with expected 5–10% productivity gains and broader adoption across the division.
