Wirquin, a sanitary equipment manufacturer with 10 subsidiaries and 6 production sites worldwide, needed a better way to align forecasts across its plants and subsidiaries. With long replenishment lead times, rapid growth, frequent new product launches, and inconsistent tools such as Excel, the company struggled to aggregate data, get a global view of capacity, and collaborate effectively on demand planning. Wirquin selected Colibri S&OP to address these forecasting and planning challenges.
Colibri was rolled out first in Russia, then in Romania and England, with China and South Africa planned next, creating a common forecasting tool across the group. The solution enabled better collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and central teams, improved data consistency, and helped stocks better match customer demand. According to Wirquin, Colibri also made it easier to convert figures between revenue and quantity levels and support monthly S&OP meetings, with the aim of bringing all plants onto one platform and building a stronger database for decision-making.
