Eurofood, a Thailand-based importer and distributor of food products, worked with Colibri to improve its sales forecasting and stock management. With long lead times of around three months, strong seasonality, and a five-month planning horizon, the company was struggling with overly optimistic forecasts, excess inventory, and the financial pressure of stock overages and expirations. Colibri’s VISION module was chosen to help bring more reliability and structure to the demand planning process.

Colibri implemented a centralized, SaaS-based forecasting solution that replaced Excel-based forecasting and shifted sales representatives from forecast generators to contributors. Eurofood saw encouraging early results, including forecast reliability gains of +11 points for A products, +12 for B, and +26 for C products, with an overall prototype reliability of 63%. Eurofood’s objective is to reach 76% forecast reliability in the coming months, while also improving cross-functional collaboration and decision-making with Colibri.
