Space Intelligence, a company mapping tropical forests for conservation, faced the challenge of processing hundreds significant engineering overhead to maintain. They turned to the vendor Coiled to find a scalable solution for their distributed Python geospatial workflows.

This allowed them to efficiently run massive jobs, such as processing all of Brazil at 10-meter resolution with a cluster of 300 workers. The Coiled solution eliminated infrastructure waste and freed the team from maintenance, enabling them to focus their efforts on building accurate forest maps that power critical conservation and carbon credit programs.
