Softphone Telecom Company, an innovator in Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony, needed to connect virtual networks to non‑RFC 1918 public IP address blocks to support its softphone services. To solve this, they turned to Cohesive Networks and deployed the VNS3 VPN solution from the AWS Marketplace.

Cohesive Networks supported the customer’s IT teams to negotiate and configure VNS3 encrypted domains using public IP addresses; by deploying peered VNS3 SME editions the customer achieved successful bidirectional reachability between the simulated customer network and AWS Elastic IP (EIP) addresses. The result was verified connectivity to and from public IP ranges over the virtual network using Cohesive Networks’ VNS3.
