UK Largest Mobile Network Operator faced the challenge of connecting several "super sites" that were previously independent MPLS networks so they could extend their VMware internal private cloud and create one federated internal cloud. They engaged Cohesive Networks and its VNS3 solution to gain topology and addressing control across the disparate sites.

Cohesive Networks implemented a VNS3 overlay network across all super sites, enabling a flat Hadoop and distributed file system to move big data workloads seamlessly between locations. As a result, the customer built a single federated internal cloud on top of existing physical infrastructure and was able to offer isolated VNS3 overlay networks to its "piggy back operators," extending the same federated cloud capabilities to partners.
