Major Mutual Fund needed to run advanced financial metrics beyond its internal infrastructure but required that all data and algorithmic routines remain encrypted in motion and at rest. They turned to Cohesive Networks and its VNS3 solution to extend compute to cloud environments while maintaining strict security and compliance.

Cohesive Networks deployed VNS3 and services to connect the fund’s data center to secure cloud-based compute grids using public cloud VLAN isolation, end-to-end encryption, segmentation, and high availability, enforcing security policies at the application layer. As a result, Major Mutual Fund produced new metric sets and on-demand reports for clients, met PCI and FISMA requirements, and reduced the costs of physical infrastructure.
