Leading Platform Retailer Company, a commerce platform for retailers handling order processing, inventory, sales, invoicing and omnichannel fulfillment, needed an alternative VPN connection that supported AES-256-bit encryption. They engaged Cohesive Networks and its VNS3 solution (deployed from the AWS Marketplace) to replace AWS NAT instances and a Virtual Private Gateway placeholder that lacked AES-256 support.

Cohesive Networks’ VNS3 was deployed, tested and configured in production within days as a drop-in replacement, enabling AES-256 encryption over static routes for VPC instances. The result was rapid restoration of strong, compliant VPN connectivity and simplified networking by replacing Amazon’s networking components quickly and effectively.
