Food Tracking Technologies, a North American SaaS company that tracks produce and eggs from farm to consumer, needed to connect an intra-regional SQL Failover Cluster across multiple AWS availability zones. They engaged Cohesive Networks and used the VNS3 product to find a secure, cloud-native way to link their distributed database infrastructure.

Cohesive Networks implemented a VNS3 overlay network (deployed via the company’s solutions integrator) and used separate, secure IPsec tunnels so the AWS big-data solution could connect to customer applications. A single VNS3 instance was able to connect AWS regions to create failover for the intra-regional SQL Failover Cluster, delivering cross‑AZ failover capability and secure connectivity.
