Smart Energy Meters Company needed to connect a customer's data center resources to Azure but found a standard site-to-site VPN insufficient because they required NAT-traversal and encapsulated IPsec. They engaged Cohesive Networks and trialed the VNS3 solution to address the complex VPN requirements.

Cohesive Networks implemented a production VNS3-to-Azure connection and their support team configured a VPN that maps the public IP to the internal IP on the Azure subnet, resolving the NAT/IPsec challenge and delivering a stable, secure link. The deployment is in production and can scale as the customer's base grows, with plans to add more VNS3 connections.
