Global Cloud-Based Threat Protection Service Provider needed global reach and redundancy for its cloud-based threat protection and virus-scanning platform, with the ability to span multiple cloud data centers and providers while integrating with existing data centers and the network operations center. They engaged Cohesive Networks and its VNS3 solution to build out what appeared to be a global cloud WAN to meet those requirements.

Cohesive Networks deployed VNS3 to create a global virtual WAN with a common address space, address mobility, multicast, and secure encryption, and integrated it with the customer's physical data center infrastructure and NOC. The result was in-region access for end customers that removed inter-continental lag, delivered global redundancy, and provided the service at dramatically lower cost than adding physical infrastructure—improving latency and resiliency while reducing capital expense.
