WHOA.com is a secure cloud provider with over 25 years of managed IT experience, serving roughly 150 SMB customers from data centers in Miami, Las Vegas and Grand Rapids. Faced with an unreliable, hard-to-manage data protection stack spread across six point solutions (compounded by a recent BCDR acquisition) the team needed a single, multi-tenant platform that could meet enterprise-class compliance and scale for backup, recovery and disaster recovery.

WHOA.com implemented Cohesity (DataPlatform, DataProtect and CloudArchive) after a successful PoC, consolidating its tools into one platform and launching SYNC, a managed backup and DR service. The deployment protects ~450 TB of physical data (expanding to >20 PB logical), sped backups and DR (e.g., 110 VMs backed up overnight; DR tests reduced from >24 hours to under an hour), delivered ~50x deduplication, eliminated 15U of rack space, cut CapEx/OpEx and virtually removed service disruptions—producing significant operational efficiencies and high ROI.
