St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Chooses Cohesity BaaS to Increase Data Protection

St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (SJSO), which supports critical services for 275,000 residents and over 900 employees (including 911 dispatch and the county jail), was relying on a legacy backup solution that was becoming difficult to maintain and vulnerable to modern threats. The IT team needed a more secure, easy-to-manage platform that would reduce maintenance overhead and improve restore times without large capital outlays.

SJSO deployed Cohesity on‑premises alongside Cohesity Backup as a Service (BaaS) on AWS to protect Microsoft 365 and on‑prem workloads.
