Large US Credit Union Selects Cohesity for Next-Gen Data Management with Improved Security

One of the largest credit unions in the U.S., operating in the highly targeted financial-services sector, faced an aging and complex data management environment: Veritas NetBackup and Dell EMC Isilon NAS required cumbersome replication tooling, were due for refresh, and couldn’t easily scale to support new customer-facing and back-office services. The IT team also needed stronger data security, simpler vendor management, and more capacity without increasing administrative overhead.

After evaluating options, the credit union deployed Cohesity Helios with DataProtect and SmartFiles, consolidating backup and file/object services on a single platform.
