Air Bud Entertainment, a 20+-year media and film studio behind the Air Bud and Air Buddies franchises, faced a failing legacy secondary storage environment that threatened production schedules. The studio generates millions of files, must retain data indefinitely, and was hampered by failed tapes, manual cloud archiving, and extremely slow restores that could force deadline changes.

Air Bud replaced tape with Cohesity’s hyperconverged platform (C2600 nodes, DataPlatform and CloudArchive to AWS Glacier), deploying 90+ TB of backups in four months.
