Wildflower Health’s Free, DTC Mobile App Paves Way to Enterprise Versions

Wildflower Health, a startup focused on improving maternity outcomes, needed a fast, budget-conscious way to prove user engagement and attract enterprise customers and investors. They partnered with Coherent Solutions as their outsourced technical engine to build Due Date Plus, a free direct‑to‑consumer mobile app that delivers clinical content and pregnancy milestones while capturing data to validate the product and refine the user experience.

Coherent Solutions developed the first iteration of Due Date Plus in ten weeks, implementing engagement tools, clinical guidance and data capture for iterative improvements. Within a year the app exceeded 50,000 downloads, helped Wildflower secure initial funding and enterprise clients, and positioned the company to launch its enterprise program in December 2013 — demonstrating measurable user adoption and the potential to improve outcomes and reduce costs in maternity care.
