Start-up Jingit Launches Web Venture with Help of Coherent Solutions

Jingit, a startup building a payment-and-engagement web platform that pays users to watch ads and fill short surveys, needed to move quickly from incubation to launch while handling many small online transactions and a youth-focused debit-card offering. Coherent Solutions acted as Jingit's virtual development department, using Amazon's cloud tools for hosting and development and bringing Agile processes and a full-stack technical team to accelerate the build.

Coherent Solutions supplied an onshore delivery manager and a Minsk-based team (developers and QA) led via daily Skype and bi-weekly scrums, using a Java/Spring/Hibernate/Flex/Tomcat stack with MySQL, MongoDB, VoltDB and Google Analytics to deliver the UI, engagement platform and payment systems (including Jingit Visa debit integration). The result was a rapid, visible launch—press coverage within a month—and an architecture requiring only about 5% maintenance so the vendor could continue adding features; Jingit's leadership regards Coherent Solutions as an integral, ongoing part of their team.
