Coherent Solutions doubles BoundaryMedical’s SaaS release rate in three months

BoundaryMedical, maker of the Outcome Enterprise (OE) SaaS used by clinics to organize and analyze patient outcome data, was struggling to scale and deliver enhancements fast enough. With providers relying on Excel/SQL and few developers familiar with OE’s Groovy & Grails codebase, releases came only twice a year and planned features fell behind, so BoundaryMedical engaged Coherent Solutions to add technical capacity and speed up delivery.

Coherent Solutions deployed a Minsk-based team (business analyst, two QA, five developers, and an onshore delivery manager), trained staff in Groovy & Grails, and introduced Agile practices plus automated testing. In 90 days Coherent Solutions doubled release cadence from every six months to every three months and, after migrating all development to Minsk, cut overall development costs by about 70% while reducing QA spend and shortening test cycles.
