Beyond Lucid Technologies helped EMS and fire departments support COVID-19 vaccine administration for hard-to-reach populations, including pop-up clinics, home visits, and skilled nursing facilities. The challenge was to quickly create a secure way to pre-register patients, screen for eligibility concerns, and keep up with complex reporting requirements across state and federal systems. They used Cognito Forms alongside their MEDIVIEW ePCR and BEACON health information exchange platform.

Using Cognito Forms, Beyond Lucid Technologies built the VaxRegistration.com method to capture HIPAA-compliant patient data, eliminate manual entry, and automatically sync records to vaccination registries and ePCR systems. The solution was deployed in 36 hours, enabled 400 registrations in about 7 minutes, reduced check-in time to 30-45 seconds per patient, and helped streamline vaccination for more than 1.2 million recipients.
