Linktree, a platform empowering creators to grow their digital presence, sought to accelerate its development velocity and handle a high volume of small features and bug fixes. The engineering team wanted to explore the power of AI to achieve this and began working with Cognition and its product, Devin, to automate these tasks and bypass lengthy internal prioritization debates.

Using Cognition's Devin, Linktree automated the implementation of new social media platform integrations and other common tasks. The AI was able to author approximately 300 PRs and merge about 100, allowing the team to swiftly ship support for new platforms like RedNote and Lemon8 in a single day. This solution enabled Linktree to expand its coverage and offload significant workloads, turning the question "Can I just Devin it?" into a core part of their development strategy.
