Arbaflame, a company that recycles biowaste from sustainable forestry into renewable energy and biochemicals, needed a better way to make operational data accessible and usable across its first full-scale plant, ArbaOne. Working with Cognite and its Industrial DataOps platform, Cognite Data Fusion™, Arbaflame wanted to connect data from multiple equipment packages and systems to support production optimization, digital scaling, and broader data access.

Cognite implemented a data foundation in Cognite Data Fusion™ over eight weeks, ingesting SCADA, engineering diagrams, data sheets, and a 3D model into a contextualized platform for analytics and visualization. As a result, Arbaflame can now use dashboards, KPIs, and clickable diagrams to troubleshoot faster, share data with employees and third parties, and run ad hoc analyses more independently. Arbaflame estimates Cognite will cut the time experts spend making sense of data by 50%.
