Using DataHub to connect wind farms, and WebView to monitor their aggregated data

Turkish Electricity Transmission Company’s growing wind power operations in Turkey needed a way to monitor two remote wind farms from their central Istanbul office. The sites’ SCADA systems could not be connected directly to the Internet, and the company wanted a single web-based view of live production data, turbine status, and detailed operational information.

Cogent DataHub, through its DataHub and WebView solution, was deployed by NSC Teknoloji to connect each remote wind farm to the central office and present the data in browser-based web pages. The system now transmits more than 30,000 data points over the Internet with a 1-second refresh rate, giving the customer a unified summary screen plus one-click access to plant details, and it will later be expanded to include a third wind farm.
