Gazprom integrates SCADA, HMI modules, RTUs, data processing and historical archiving

Gazprom, the world’s largest gas producer, needed a reliable way to monitor and control critical equipment across 23,000 kilometers of pipeline in western Russia. Cogent DataHub was used as part of the Unified Remote-Control Complex to connect control rooms with RTUs, SCADA, HMI modules, and data processing systems.

Cogent DataHub was deployed in each control room to provide robust connectivity, real-time operation, teletext communication, and historical archiving through the Cascade Historian. The solution successfully passed state testing and was recommended for use at Gazprom facilities, with the customer reporting high satisfaction, especially with the software’s reliability.
