Qatar National Library launches 1.8 million-record Qatar Digital Library with Cogapp

Cogapp partnered with Qatar National Library to address the challenge of making the British Library's vast archive of Gulf-related historical documents accessible to researchers and the public in the Middle East for the first time. Prior to this project, viewing these important materials required traveling to London.

Cogapp designed and developed the bilingual Qatar Digital Library, a robust online archive powered by Drupal. The solution delivered over 1.8 million records, enabling global access to the digitized content and facilitating new historical research directly from the Gulf region. Cogapp's work received international press coverage and was hailed as a profound milestone that would realign the historiography of the area.
