Ackland Art Museum publishes 134 drawings online with Cogapp

The Ackland Art Museum received its largest gift, the Peck Collection, which included 134 Dutch and Flemish drawings. A condition of the gift was that the collection be made freely available online for a global audience. Cogapp was selected to help the museum meet this challenge and publish the collection online.

Cogapp developed a new website featuring a custom visual identity and a Craft CMS. The solution utilized IIIF technology to allow for deep zooming into high-resolution images and provided features for scholarly research. The result is an accessible online presentation that honors the collection, allowing audiences worldwide to explore the drawings in unprecedented detail.
