Multinational Organization Reduces Phishing Exposure with Cofense

Multinational Imaging and Optical Manufacturer, a global company with more than 18,000 employees in the EMEA region, faced rising phishing risk and found traditional awareness programs (videos and classrooms) ineffective. To strengthen employee-driven defenses, the company engaged Cofense and began with the Cofense PhishMe enterprise SaaS to condition users against phishing through simulated scenarios.

Cofense implemented PhishMe first for a 5,500-employee pilot and, after success, expanded coverage to all 18,000 employees, running quarterly simulations and customizing scenarios. The vendor also deployed Cofense Reporter to simplify employee reporting—resulting in an immediate and significant increase in suspicious-email reports and a “vastly improved” ability to catch phishing. The customer is now testing Cofense Triage to reduce false positives and accelerate incident response, and cites quick deployment and responsive Cofense support.
