A Codeship Case Study
LendingCrowd is a fast-growing UK peer-to-business crowdlending platform that helps small and medium enterprises access flexible, lower-cost loans while giving investors risk-based returns. As their home-grown Jenkins instance grew costly to maintain, testing and deployment overhead began diverting their eight-person engineering team away from product work and slowing growth.
Moving to Codeship took only a couple of hours and provided an all-in-one CI/CD pipeline to staging and production (AWS), with out-of-the-box support for tools like Poltergeist/PhantomJS and Memcached. Combined with Codeship’s new ParallelCI and test-side tweaks, LendingCrowd halved their test run time, regained developer productivity, and now relies on responsive support while focusing on improving their platform.
