UNDP launches Montenegro gender map in under 2 months with Codepixel

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Montenegro needed to launch a public platform that makes complex, multi-dimensional gender statistics accessible to a general audience without a data background. The challenge was to build this interactive, map-first platform with custom data visualizations against a fixed public launch date. Codepixel was engaged under a fixed-scope contract to provide product design and engineering services.

Codepixel designed and built the full Rodna mapa product, which included a custom Angular-based interactive map and a system of purpose-built infographics instead of standard charts. They delivered the platform on deadline without trimming the scope. The solution was launched live and used from day one, attracting tens of thousands of visitors in its first month and being presented publicly on seven occasions.
