A Codefresh Case Study
HOVER, a San Francisco 3D technology company that converts smartphone photos into fully measured 3D home models, faced a fragmented CI/CD stack built from multiple SaaS tools, custom scripts and ECS. With a six‑month goal to achieve Continuous Delivery and limited in‑house Kubernetes experience, HOVER needed a vendor to accelerate Kubernetes adoption, provide deployment monitoring and rollback capabilities, and speed up delivery. They selected Codefresh’s Kubernetes‑first CI/CD platform for the migration.
Codefresh migrated HOVER in two parallel phases—porting existing tests into Codefresh while deploying new branches to Kubernetes—taking advantage of full Kubernetes cluster integration, built‑in dashboards, flexible pipeline composition, Docker Compose onboarding, and advanced deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, Helm). The result: a 6–12x improvement in test runtimes—integration/unit tests dropped from 20–30 minutes to ~5 minutes and CPU/I/O‑intensive regression tests fell from over two hours to ~12 minutes—along with faster builds, easier multi‑cloud deployment and better deployment visibility thanks to Codefresh.
