Meteor Mobile Communications, a fast-growing Irish telecom provider, was struggling with a fragmented print environment made up of too many printers, suppliers, service agreements, and consumables. The company needed to reduce device count while still improving service for staff, and turned to Codec-dss for a standard all-in-one print, fax, and copy solution.

Codec-dss implemented a managed print service using HP LaserJet 9000 MFPs and HP LaserJet 4100 MFPs across Meteor’s head office and 11 shops and regional offices. The result was a reduction in output devices from 74 to 41, lower support and maintenance effort, improved uptime, fewer helpdesk calls, centralized consumables procurement, and reduced paper and energy costs, with Codec-dss also using remote monitoring and preventative maintenance to fix issues before staff noticed them.
