Kingspan Simplify Their Financial CPM Financial Consolidation (PM10)

Kingspan, a leading manufacturer in the construction industry, faced a largely Excel-based financial consolidation process that required significant manual effort from Group Finance to deliver accurate, timely management and regulatory reporting. As the company expanded through growth and acquisitions, its manual intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, journal processing, and audit trail management became increasingly difficult to scale. Codec-dss, using Infor10 CPM Financial Consolidation (PM10), implemented a more extensible consolidation system for Kingspan.

Codec-dss delivered a solution that kept a familiar Excel interface while connecting live to a central SQL Server database, automating opening balances, intercompany data, reconciliations, approvals, eliminations, and joint venture consolidation. The result was faster financial reporting, stronger formal data controls, improved accuracy, and easier integration of acquired entities. Kingspan reported that Codec-dss helped reduce time spent on consolidation while making the process more flexible and efficient.
