Fáilte Ireland digitises HR processes and reduces errors with Codec-dss

Fáilte Ireland, the national tourism development authority, faced challenges with inefficient, paper-based HR processes and limited legacy applications that hindered its digital workplace initiative. To modernize its operations and improve the user experience, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, it partnered with vendor Codec-dss to utilize Microsoft Power Apps and the Power Platform.

Codec-dss designed a solution that modernized and digitized these legacy HR processes using Power Apps and Power Automate, while also implementing Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online for collaboration. The results delivered by Codec-dss included the rapid prototyping of applications, automated and auditable workflows that reduced manual labor and error rates, and the creation of a governed infrastructure for efficiently migrating future legacy solutions.
