Bed Bath & Beyond partnered with CodeBroker to pilot a mobile coupon program aimed at improving the customer experience and driving more purchases across its store base. Using CodeBroker’s mobile loyalty and SMS mobile coupon promotion solutions (including the CodeBroker Smartlink™ and shortcode sign-up flow), Bed Bath & Beyond wanted a simple, accurate way to deliver popular coupons to customers’ phones and ensure they could be redeemed easily in-store or online.

CodeBroker implemented a text-to-signup Smartlink that prevents mistyped numbers, delivers immediate and scheduled coupons by SMS, supports a “RESEND” shortcode, and provides scannable mobile barcodes certified to scan on 500+ phone models. The solution also integrates with Bed Bath & Beyond’s online cart to detect available coupons and marks coupons as redeemed after a single use. As a result, CodeBroker enabled reliable mobile coupon delivery and redemption tracking that enhances convenience for customers and helps drive incremental purchases in deployed markets.
