National STEM Learning Centre launches a new Drupal homepage in 2018 with Code Enigma

The National STEM Learning Centre, a major provider of education and careers support in STEM subjects, needed to redesign an outdated Drupal 7 homepage that was focused on news and was difficult for their team to update. They engaged Code Enigma to provide UX and design services to better showcase their mission and serve their three key user groups: teachers, employers, and ambassadors.

Code Enigma created a new, user-focused homepage design and redeveloped the underlying Drupal structure. They implemented a new, editor-friendly content type using field collection, making the homepage easily updatable and adaptable without requiring technical assistance. The solution was a success; the communications team was very happy with the fresh look and the new ease of use, with Rebecca, the Online Product Officer, reporting "rave reviews" about how simple the page was to manage.
