Blue Marine Foundation reaches over 100,000 people in 24 hours with Code Computerlove

Blue Marine Foundation faced the challenge of preventing overfishing and protecting Maldivian reefs after the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted tourism and food imports, leading to increased local fishing. They partnered with the agency Code Computerlove to design and build a digital campaign to address this urgent environmental issue.

Code Computerlove facilitated workshops with local experts to understand user needs and cultural nuances, then used ideation techniques to develop the campaign concept. The resulting digital experience was Blue Marine Foundation's best-performing campaign to date, reaching over 100,000 people—a third of the Maldives' native population—within 24 hours. It garnered 4.5 million impressions and saw 30,000 people engage with its deep-learning assets.
