A Code and Theory Case Study

Preview of the Brand USA Case Study

Brand USA manages 15,000 pages across 14 countries with Code and Theory

Brand USA, the destination marketing organization for the United States, faced the challenge of inspiring international travelers from 14 different countries and reversing a decline in visitors. Their website, VisitTheUSA.com, contained a massive amount of content but lacked personalization, making it difficult to present relevant experiences to each user's individual interests. They partnered with the digital agency Code and Theory to address this.

Code and Theory implemented a personalized user experience using the Acquia Lift for Drupal engine. The solution featured dynamically rearranging modular pages, an omnipresent map widget, multi-state trip ideas, and a "Choose your adventure" quiz to match content to user behavior. The result was an intuitive interface that allowed users to navigate 15,000 pages of content effectively. This gave Brand USA the ability to efficiently update and dynamically adapt content for each international market.
