Case Study: iZettle (Zettle by PayPal) gives small businesses back valuable time with Codat

A Codat Case Study

Preview of the iZettle Case Study

iZettle give their customers back the valuable time they need to focus on their business

iZettle, the PayPal-owned fintech that provides payments, mobile POS, funding and partner apps for small businesses, faced a common customer pain: merchants didn’t have time to manually reconcile POS data with their accounting systems and expected seamless connectivity. Rather than invest years building and maintaining multiple integrations, iZettle partnered with vendor Codat and its integration platform/single API to solve the problem more quickly.

Codat standardized POS data for iZettle’s customers—mapping sales, payments and fees, letting customers choose what and how often to sync—and provided a single API to connect to multiple accounting platforms. As a result, Codat enabled a faster, more convenient experience that reclaimed customers’ time, avoided a years‑long in‑house build and allowed iZettle to offer a market‑leading product without a huge development spend.
