Case Study: Capital on Tap boosts retention and saves time with Codat

A Codat Case Study

Preview of the Capital on Tap Case Study

How Capital on Tap made customers three times stickier with automated bank feeds

Capital on Tap, a provider of an all-in-one small business credit card and spend management platform, needed to simplify the bank reconciliation process for its customers to increase retention and card spend. The challenge was to build and maintain direct integrations with numerous accounting software platforms, a task that would have required a prohibitive amount of engineering resources. To solve this, they turned to Codat and leveraged its Bank Feeds API.

Codat’s solution provided a single API integration that automatically pushes transaction data into customers' accounting software, such as Xero and QuickBooks, formatted to match each system's native look and feel. This implementation, which was completed in under two weeks, delivered significant results: connected customers are twice as likely to make Capital on Tap their primary card and three times less likely to churn, while also saving hundreds of hours on financial tasks.
